In 1995, Tom Sternal participated in the Spring/Summer Exhibition at Grounds For Sculpture. These works have now become part of the collection. The stacked stone structures of 'Vertical 92.10' and 'Vertical 92.8' convey a rational transfer of weight and encourages visual comparisons between the diverse sizes, shapes, and characters of the component materials.
